Richard Hornabrook is a resident of Southport Queensland on the Gold Coast and is involved in the construction industry.

He has been an amateur writer for many years.

Charles Keyser, now deceased; was also involved in the construction industry, where the author met him.

But his early years were taken up as a merchant seaman, then as an importer of ex minesweepers, motor torpedo boats and other small warships for conversion to the tourist industry.

He also was active in the insurance and finanace sectors.
